Perth Landscaping Group: COVID-19 Update

With the current global crisis, we’ve realised that, more than ever, as a society, we need to review the way we operate and consume resources – this is why PLG is committed to becoming a Sustainable Business by 2022.

What does that mean? We are committed to doing all we can to become planet and people-friendly in order to protect the environment and our communities – read more about how we are doing that here.

The crisis and what we’re doing

We are currently still allowed to operate and are following all required and recommended measures to ensure the safety of our customers and our employees. As a small business, now more than ever we need the support of our amazing customers to continue to operate, offering the best service we can, and continue on our mission to improve our impact on the environment.

Even though we work outside and already have minimal contact with our customers, we have put in place additional internal measures to limit and control the risk to our employees and customers, such as:

  • Limiting the number of people per vehicle to 1 employee per vehicle at all times
  • Each vehicle is disinfected at the end of each shift
  • All employees can only work their shift if they are healthy and well

Guidelines to our customers:

  • Please do respect the 1.5m distancing – we are staying at a distance for your safety as well
  • It’s a reflex for us too, but please refrain from shaking our hands on arrival
  • As much as possible, provide a list of tasks required by email or over the phone to reduce interaction

Our team are experienced and can also see what is required in a garden once we are there without in-person directions, so stay inside, relax and STAY HEALTHY!

All our staff are completing the Infection Control Training and are all aware of the risks and safety measures.
